Good Afternoon!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend – I know I had a fun one with the girls at the Painted Petals class and I even managed to finish it wearing a white top and we used a bit of Blackberry Bliss and managed to not get any on my top – true story!
I’ll share those projects during the week but for today I have another card using Butterfly Basics and the gorgeous Butterflies Framelits ….

Now if you havent already worked it out I just love these framelits!
They cut beautifully every time and when you use the right layers you’ll find all the bits just falling out! So much easier than when I struggled a while back with out doillies die!
So what layers am I talking about? The layers are the pieces you need for these to cut out without a hassle and here they are in order …
- Cutting mat
- Dryer Sheet (available from Woolworths and Coles here in Australia but be warned not all stores stock them)
- cardstock/paper
- Wax/Greaseproof Paper (double layer)
- Die (facing down)
- Cutting mat
I know it seems involved and a lot however it works and you wont need to be forcing any of the sections out.
Now if you cant source the dryer sheets let me know and I’ll get some to you.
This was my first play with the butterflies and it got me hooked right away and I’m sure once you play with the thinlit framelits you’ll need them too! You may like to save yourself 15% and get yourself the Butterfly Basics bundle that includes the stamp set and the dies and grab yourself a free Sale-a-bration item when you do!
Thanks for stopping by and catch ya latte …Image may be NSFW.
