I have another card for you today from my Ways to Use Embossing Folders class using the Fluttering Embossing Folder and the Butterflies Thinlits ..

The technique I’ve on this card is the inked embossing folder technique. It’s quick and easy and gives such a wow – it really makes the embossed images pop!

Simply ink the embossed folder with a brayer, pop your cardstock in and run it through the Big Shot and it’s done. I’ve used Sweet Sugarplum ink with Sweet Sugarplum cardstock for the tone on tone contrast.
It really is that easy and you do want to use a rubber brayer and you ink up the side of the folder you want inked so for this one I inked the side that has the background raised.

My butterfly is done in Vellum and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
I’ve used vellum with the Bold Butterfly outline die which fits perfectly behind the cut out butterfly which I’ve done in the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
Remember when cutting out dies with our Glimmer paper to turn the Glimmer paper over so you are cutting direct into the card backing and not through the glitter on top. This works for all dies except letters, numbers & words.
